Welcome to the Saskatoon 18U (Midget) AAA page. The three Saskatoon teams are the Cubs, Diamondbacks and Giants.

2023-24 18U AAA Tryout Process

Cubs, Diamondbacks, Giants

2023 Dates (for 2024 season):

Skill-Based Session (September 5, 2023 6:00-10:00pm – Martensville Mocon #1) *mandatory attendance

Situations Session (September 12, 2023 6:00-10:00pm Martensville Mocon #1)

Games (September 16 & 17, 2023 12:00-6:00pm – Edward McCourt)

*Situations and Games times will be emailed out to all registrants on September 1, 2022

Players need to arrive early, warm up and be ready to start drills.

Process:

• There will be not be any further tryouts for AAA teams after these tryout dates are complete
• Not all players will be drafted.  Undrafted players will be contacted via email and encouraged to try again the following year.
• Players who are drafted will be notified by the teams and notified of next steps.
• Drafted players will either make the final team roster, be offered an affiliate position, or be cut with an opportunity to be picked up by another team.
• Final rosters will be posted on team websites.

Requirements:

• To register, players must be resident of Zone 6 Saskatoon.
• Players must register on-line prior to attending the tryouts.  Online registration is available in the link below.
• Tryout fee is $150.00 paid at the first tryout.  Cash or cheque are accepted. Fees must be paid in full before player allowed on field.
• Players must have their own equipment and appropriate baseball uniform for all tryout sessions.
